One last Ippity post!  I'm finishing off July with tags.  I am making tags for a swap on the Cricut MB and this butterfly makes them perfect.  This butterfly is quickly becoming my "go to" butterfly stamp.  On these tags I stamped the leaf swirl on the bottom and put stickles and bling in a couple of strategic spots.  Then, I stamped two butterflies on the top half of the tag and "colored" them in with Pink Stickles, and Diamond Stickles.  I've never done that before using just Stickles, but I really like how they turned out.  The pictures just don't do the sparkle justice, but my camera and the lighting in my craft space are just not cooperating!  LOL

Okay, well, I'm off to make 18 more of these for my swap.  I am using them to label the items in my swap.  Hope my Swap Sister likes them!

Hugs and happy crafting everyone!!

Hello my friends!!  I hope today finds you well.  I've created two cards this time with my Ippity stamps, and I used a second stamp set for a different sentiment.  I've used the For You sentiment from the Fall for You Stamp set and the flower from the Now & Always Stamp set .

The first card I stamped my images on patterened cardstock and cut them out and put them on a card front along with my layered sentiment.

I used glitter paper to give my card some sparkle.

The second card, I stamped on Copic compatible paper and colored with my copics.  Then I put them on pattered cardstock and put my sentiment on my card front.

Please let me know what you think!  Thanks!!!

Journal Prompt Swap on the Cricut MB

DiAnn is my partner on the journal prompt swap over on the Cricut MB.  This is the box and the journaling prompts that I made for her, along with the journaling spots.  I took the journaling prompts and folded them in half and put them in the box so she could randomly pick a prompt and use it for that layout. I tried to make them as general as possible so they would fit all different types of events.  I sure hope she likes it.

This is the top of the box.  I found the box at Hobby Lobby and was going to alter it, but I liked the pattern so much that I ended up just embelishing it a little.

These are all her journaling spots, the little notebook to write down her thoughts and the box holding her journaling prompts.  I didn't get any pics of the journaling prompts but they're just typed out on decoratively cuts of paper.

Thanks,
Doodles

Here's this week's creation with the Ippity stamps.  This time I used this beautiful flower stamp and used it to emboss a pattern on my card.  I stamped it with Versa Mark ink, then used Martha Stewart embossing powder on the image.  Using white ribbon, I tied a bow at the top and put my sentiment on white cardstock, matting it on black.  Tell me what ya think!!

I also put some pearl bling on the corners of my sentiment.

You can see how shiny the embossed image is in this picture.

Ippity Stamps Guest Designer

Hello my dear friends!!  Hope everyone had a super day today!!  This month my friend Heather at Paper Crafters Anonymous asked me to be the Guest Designer for their Creative team for the I Heart {ippity} stamps.  They are super adorable stamps!!  This month I'll be working with the Now & Forever stamp set featured below.

I made this card using the cute butterfly and the sentiment "Thinking of you now and always".  Isn't the buttefly super cute!?!  I used Glossy Accents on my butterfly to give it some dimension on the card front.

Directions for my card:
1. Cut a card 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 out of Bazzill cardstock.  I love Bazzill cardstock!  As a matter of fact, it's just about the only cardstock I use.  I used Grenadine for the base of my card.
2.  Cut a piece of Bazzill cardstock for the middle layer 4 1/4 x 5 1/4.  I used Almond Cream.
3. Cut a piece of Bazzill cardstock for the outer layer 4 x 5.  I used Raspberry Splash.
4. Glue all the layers together with your favorite adhesive.
5. Using your favorite white inking pen, ink a "stitch" around the edge.
6. Stamp your butterfly image on the top right hand corner and using your favorite black liner, draw the flying pattern.
7. Cut out a strip of Bazzill cardstock about 1 inch by 4 inch to layer your sentiment on.  I used Guacamole from Bazzill, of course.....
8. Stamp your sentiment on a piece of white cardstock about 3/4 inch by 3 1/4 inch and adhere to the top of the green strip.
9.  Put Glossy Accents on the inside of your butterfly stamp for dimension.

I hope you love using the Ippity stamps as much as I do.  They are super cute!  Thanks for checking out my card!
